Though the newly released Windows 7 boasts of many things like faster loading and shutting down than the previous versions, still the new operating system is taking more time in booting.

As per the report from Iolo Technlogies, the new version took 1 min 34 seconds as compared to 1 min 6 seconds for Windows Vista. The software company also measured the time for the desktop to appear and the time it takes to become fully operational.

However, the operational details will be revealed when more testing are done gradually. But it's clear that, the Windows 7 is a little bit lazy in booting than Windows Vista as significant in the boot-up tests.

Though no response has been made from the company, but Microsoft might be looking into the glitches to make a good impact.
