Periyar University's examination scheme

SALEM: Periyar University has announced a special examination scheme for the students who studied five years ago in the affiliated colleges and were having arrears.

The examination would be conducted based on the old syllabus. Students should pay a sum of Rs. 1,000 per subject as condonation fee.

The application forms can be obtained from the respective colleges. The filled in application forms should be sent to the university on or before September 25.

Meanwhile, those who already paid the examination fee during the April/May 2009 may forward their applications along with the payment details. More information can be obtained from the university.
