Questions to Ask
1. Is this a new position? If not, what did the previous employee go on to do?
2. Who does this position report to?
3. How would you describe the responsibilities of the position?
4. How would you describe a typical week/day in this position?
5. What is the typical work week? Is overtime expected?
6. What is the company's management style?
7. How many people work in this office/department?
8. What don't you like about working here and what would you change?
9. How much travel is expected?
10. How does one advance in the company?
11. If I am extended a job offer, how soon would you like me to start?
12. What can I tell you about my qualifications?
13. Are there any other questions I can answer for you?
14. When can I expect to hear from you?

Questions NOT to ask
1. Considering that you had to do your research about the company before you went to the interview you should not ask what that company does.
2. Do not ask things such as schedule, vacation, holidays etc. Keep these questions for the moment when you are already an employee of that company.
3. During an interview you need to show flexibility and patience. Do not ask if you got the job. If they were really satisfied with you, it is them who should mention this. In any case, they will inform you about the status of your candidacy.
