Computerised grievance redressal system introduced

THANJAVUR: The district administration has introduced computerised grievance redressal at the Collectorate to deal with petitions received on the weekly grievance day meeting held every Monday.

Presiding over the grievance day on Monday, Collector M. S. Shanmugham said that 10 computers have been designated for this purpose. Hereafter, petitions would be entered into the computers and computerised acknowledgement receipts would also be given.

People could send all their petitions through e-mail also.

Pattas distributed
The Collector distributed free house site pattas to 13 persons from Regunathapuram village in Papanasam panchayat union. He also checked whether the online registration of petitions were properly done.

M. Karunakaran, District Revenue Officer, and other officials participated in the meeting, said a press release issued here on Monday.
