THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Above Poverty Line (APL) families in Kerala will formally come under the cover of the Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) with the launch of health cards for APL families here on Monday. The scheme, which already has a membership of 11.65 lakh families in the State, will see another 10 lakh families getting the health insurance cover. Every APL family will have to pay a premium of Rs.500 to become eligible for coverage under the scheme.
