KLE University becomes ASAIHL member

Belgaum: The KLE University has been recently granted membership of the Association of South-East Asian Institutions of High Learning (ASAIHL). The Association of South-East Asian Institutions of High Learning was founded as a non-governmental organisation at a meeting of the heads of eight state universities in the region in Thailand's capital — Bangkok — in 1956. The objective of the Association of South-East Asian Institutions of High Learning is to assist member institutions to strengthen themselves through manual self-help and achieve international distinction in teaching, research and public service.

In doing so, the member institutions contribute strength to their respective nations and to the entire region, according to a KLE university release here on Thursday.
