Scholarship holders' list on BIE website

HYDERABAD: The Central Government has earmarked 6,097 scholarships to the State under the "Central Sector Scheme for Scholarships for College and University students" for the year 2008-09. Selected students get Rs. 1,000 per month for three years for regular and professional degree courses and Rs. 2,000 per month for fourth and fifth year for professional degree and PG courses for 10 months in an academic year. The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has published the list of provisionally selected candidates for these scholarships and details have been sent to the colleges .
