It is not only the actresses who are crossing borders. Even ideas or movies do. Since early times, Tamil cinemas have always been attracting its Hindi counterpart. South films have always inspired the Bollywood and there are several Tamil movies remade in Hindi with a touch of local flavour.

'Ghajini' stands as a hit example that captured Bollywood and went on to create success in Hindi. It not only introduced Asin to the Hindi audience but also boosted Aamir Khan's career. 'Pokkiri' is also turned into Hindi titled 'Wanted', with Salman Khan and directed by the Prabhudeva who had done the original too.

Now it seems Salman Khan is willing to do yet another remake. 'Ayan', the recent successful film of Suriya and Tamannah, has attracted the Bollywood filmmakers and rumoured to be remade in Hindi. Sources reveal that Jackie Shroff might be also roped in for an important role in this one.

There are other movies in the line which are going to be remade in Hindi. But will all these remakes hit the target as their original? Will these recreate the 'Ghajini' success? Only time will tell...
