Tech will be used in State schools:

VIJAYAWADA: Minister for Secondary Education Dokka Manikya Varaprasada Rao on Saturday said that the Government would consider using computer-aided teaching tools in its schools if the experiment of 'e-smart' classes being tried in private schools proved to be a success.

The Minister said this after inaugurating 'e-smart' classes at St. Paul's Public School, located in A.E. Mission compound at Rayanapadu, near here.

Mr. Varaprasada Rao said usage of latest technologies to improve classroom teaching was a welcome development, and this could be replicated once it was proven as a success. Rohit Malik, vice-president of Educom Solutions, the pioneers of 'e-smart' classes, school director Lanka Karunakar Dass and others were present.
