Federal Bank selects 13 GITAM students

VISAKHAPATNAM: As many as 13 students from engineering and management branches of GITAM University have been selected as probationary officers by the Federal Bank during a recruitment drive held at the campus. The students are from MBA and B.Tech. branches of biotechnology, IT and mechanical engineering branches. Each will receive an annual pay of Rs. 4.40 lakhs. With these new opportunities the total placements in GITAM touched 600 figure, according to a press release on Friday.

In view of increasing opportunities in the banking sector, GITAM University conducted training programmes to students and introduced personality development classes as a subject of study (with 100 marks). The university aiming cent percent placement record.
