Applications for BE/B.Tech lateral entry courses 

CHENNAI: Application forms for admission to the second year BE/B.Tech degree courses during 2009-2010 under the lateral entry scheme for seats in government, government-aided, self-financing engineering colleges under the purview of the Directorate of Technical Education, and constituent colleges of Anna University-Chennai and Tiruchi, will be issued from May 25 to June 22 in select colleges throughout the State between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Cost of form: The cost of the form is Rs.300 and for SC/ST candidates, free of cost. A Demand Draft for the amount should be drawn in any nationalised/scheduled bank dated May 22 or later, in favour of 'The Secretary, Second Year B.E./B.Tech degree admissions -2009, ACCET, Karaikudi' payable at Karaikudi.

By post: Application forms can also be obtained by post from 'The Secretary, Second Year B.E./B.Tech degree admissions -2009, Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology, Karaikudi- 630004' by sending a self-addressed envelope (35x26 size), affixing a stamp to the value of Rs. 50 along with the DD for the prescribe amount and a requisition letter.

Filled in applications can also be sent to the above address.

The last date is June 22. Candidates will be called for counselling during the first week of July.
