Pass percentage 70 in Tiruvannamalai

Tiruvannamalai: About seventy per cent of students who appeared for Plus-Two examinations from the district have emerged successful.

According to Chief Educational Officer Ashokan, 21,034 students appeared for examinations and 14,774 got through.

Fifty-two students got centum in mathematics and two students got centum in accountancy.

Seven self-financing schools got cent percent results.

S. Giridharan of Dr.V. Genguswamy Naidu Matriculation School student emerged district topper;

A.Vaishnavi of Cheyyar Girls Higher Secondary School (with 1,156 marks), R. Karthikeyan of Ramakrishna Matriculation School, Chengam (1,154) were second and third in the district respectively.
