Fee structure for PU courses

HASSAN: Deputy Director for Pre-University Education Dorai Swamy has announced the fee structure for first and second year PU courses and warned education institutions that collecting excess fee may invite disciplinary action including de-recognition.

The fee structure for government PU colleges for 2009-10 is as follows: for first year general category students it is Rs. 630 for Arts/ Commerce stream and Rs. 910 for Science stream (for girls it is Rs. 95 for Arts/ Commerce/ Science.) For second year general category students it is Rs. 810 for Arts/ Commerce and Rs. 1,060 for Science (for girls it is Rs. 80 for Arts/ Commerce/ Science).

For BCM students, the fee for first year is Rs. 380 for Arts/ Commerce and Rs. 410 for Science.

The fee for second year is Rs. 330 for Arts/ Commerce/ Science. For SC students, the fee is Rs. 95 for first year and Rs. 100 for the second year course.

In private grant-in-aid colleges, the fee for first year general category students is Rs. 980 for Arts/ Commerce and Rs. 1,210 for Science. For second year students, it is Rs. 1,110 for Arts/ Commerce and Rs. 1,360 for Science.

For BCM students, the fee for first year is Rs. 380 for Arts/ Commerce and Rs. 410 for Science. For second course, the fee is Rs. 330 for Arts/ Commerce/ Science.
