NALGONDA: The Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET-2009) will be held at nine centres in the town on May 9.

A total of 4557 candidates from the district will appear in the test on Saturday.

The candidates who have not received the hall tickets so far can download the duplicate hall-tickets online on the websites www.icet2009.net or www.andhrauniversity.

Downloading facility for ICET 2009 hall tickets

VISAKHAPATNAM: Convenor of Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) 2009 and Principal of AU College of Engineering P.S.N. Raju said here on Thursday that the test centre at SRR Government Degree and PG College at Karimnagar has been shifted to Vivekananda Residential School in the same city due to counting of votes of Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

Prof. Raju said the facility of downloading hall tickets from the website www.icet09.net was provided from Wednesday and a candidate who did not receive hall ticket can appear for the test by producing the downloaded hall ticket.

The ICET Convenor advised the candidates to carry good quality pencils and erasers to the examination and read the instructions carefully before filling the data and answering the questions. As many as 2.12 lakh candidates have registered for the ICET 2009 to be held on May 9.

Minister for Higher Education R. Chenga Reddy would select the ICET set of question papers through a draw of lots at the AU Engineering College auditorium at 6 a.m. on Saturday.

Chairman of AP State Council of Higher Education K.C. Reddy and others would attend.

ICET at 24 centres in city

VIJAYAWADA: The Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) for admission into MBA and MCA courses in the State will be held on Saturday, for which all arrangements have been made in the city. The test is being conducted at 24 centres here.

According to the officials concerned, 14,934 students are appearing for the ICET in all the city centres put together. The test will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. A strong room has been arranged at the Montessori Mahila Kalasala. The city coordinator of the test is N. Vijayarathnam of the Acharya Nagarjuna University.The students appearing for the test are expected to arrive at their respective examination centres 30 minutes before the start of the test.
