Andhra University School of Distance Education - Admissions to BA, BCom & Certificate Courses for Calendar Batch 2009

Last date for submitting filled in forms (with late fee of Rs. 200) is April 15, 2009

The School of Distance Education invites applications from the candidates residing in India for Admission to BA, BCom and Certificate Courses for Calendar Year Batch 2009. First year Examination for the Degree candidates admitted in this batch will be held in November / December 2009. Second and Third year examinations will be held with a gap of one year each thereafter. The Examinations for Computer Certificate Courses will be held in the month of June / July 2009.
Courses - Eligibility

1. BA, BCom (Both English and Telugu Media) (3 year course): Intermediate / PUC or equivalent or Pass in Entrance Examination conducted by the School.

2. Computer Certificate Courses (6 months) a) Office Automation & Accounting; (b) Office Automation & Multimedia Technologies; (c) Office Automation & Internet Technologies: Intermediate / pass in the BA/BCom Entrance Examination conducted by this School or any other University.

Applications will be issued from 31.01.2009. Filled-in Applications should reach the undersigned on or before 20.03.2009. Interested candidates may write to the Director for Application form and prospectus by post by sending a DD for Rs. 80/- drawn in favor of the Registrar, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam 530 003, Andhra Pradesh. The candidates have to write their name, address and course for which they want the application form on reverse side of the DD. The candidate may also get the application form and prospectus by paying Rs. 40/- at the cash counter of the School of Distance Education, AU, Visakhapatnam.

Postal Orders / Cheques / MOs will not be accepted.

Spot Admissions

Spot Admissions will be given to candidates at the following study centers as per the schedule given below: Candidates have to bring original certificates and Demand Draft towards admision fee. Admission will be given on the spot (from 10 AM to 5 PM) and original certificates will be returned to the candidates.
