EDW (Informatica, Teradata)TESTING

Job Description:
• Informatica, Teradata and UNIX
• Good in database design, SQL Queries and optimization and data analysis.
• Bug solving and design understanding of Informatica mapping and PL/SQL program.
• Good knowledge of SLC (software life cycle) and release process
• Good Understanding in Enterprise Data Warehousing Concept(Star schema, Dimensional modeling, SCD etc)

Job details overview:
· Good knowledge of SQL.
· Working knowledge of Unix, shell scripts and batch jobs (Autosys/ESP)
· Good in database design, SQL Queries and optimization and data analysis.
· Bug solving and design understanding of Informatica mapping and PL/SQL program.
· Good knowledge of SLC (software life cycle) and release process
· Good Understanding in Enterprise Data Warehousing Concept(Star schema, Dimensional modeling, SCD etc)

Role details:
· Responsible for review of unit test cases, Preparation of system test cases/Integration Test cases and test results in the project.
· Performing code walk through and debugging program code
· Compile programs (Informatica, Teradata and UNIX) and log the errors detected in the compiling process.
· Effectively track and communicate work status and progress to appropriate audience
· Understand and follow project defined processes

Additional Skills:
· Good in performance tuning ( use of hints ,explain plan etc)
· Scheduling Tool like ESP/Autosys is an added advantage
· Tools like HP Open view, HP Quality Center and Harvest is an added advantage
· Exposure to retail domain is an added advantage
