Anantapur girl excels in Maths Olympiad

A sixth-standard student of Narayana E-Techno School here, P. Charitha Sree Sahithi, has achieved third rank in the South India Maths Olympiad screening test held last month. About one lakh students appeared in the screening test held in four Southern States of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

Results of the screening test held on December 14, 2008, were released on Sunday night.

Another student of the same school, V. Venkat Nihal of seventh-standard, achieved eighth rank in the screening test.
