REPALLE (GUNTUR Dt): Methodical practice of studying regular chapters in the course curriculum will help students perform better said popular communication skills trainer Chandu Sambasiva Rao told school students here on Monday.

Top to bottom and Left to Right are the basic principles of studying and writing, which mean reading chapters in that order and not jumbling them, he said giving away cash awards to meritorious students of 54 schools in Guntur district. At a function got up by the Medical and Cultural Association of Repalle at Guttikonda Auditorium, Mr. Sambasiva Rao said that Left to Right reading or writing indicated detailed study of chapters and if this was practiced diligently, no personality development training was required and a student could understand all his lessons easily.

The MCA in association with Ramanujam Academy of Mathematics organised a talent examination at Repalle and Nagaram in which more than 600 students from 54 schools participated and meritorious were given away Rs.2,000 as first prize, Rs.1,500 as second, and Rs.750 as third prize, the MCA Secretary V. Prakasa Rao told audience.

The winners were B.V.N.C. Vivek of RV Nilayam School, Repalle, Ch. Manasa of Ramakrishna Public School, Repalle, G. Chaitanya of Vivekananda Vidya Vihar and M. Ravi Teja in English Medium and the winners among Telugu medium were Vaka Mahesh Kumar of ZPH School, Velturu, M. Pavan of ZPH School of Piratla and K.R.S. Sarvani of Sri Sai Vidyalayam of Repalle.

Among the consolation prize winners were V. Kavitha, ZPHS Vaddiveripalem, S. Purnachandra Rao and Macherla Venkateswara Rao of SPBM ZPHS Peteru, P. Venkateswaramma, P. Lakshmi Tejaswi, Vemula Sravya, and P. Nagajyothi of Bhattiprolu, B. Ratna Sahiti and K. Sri Harsha of Repalle.
