Visitors to Dubai flying on Emirates can now apply for the visa in India without having to locate a sponsor in Dubai.

Over the past several years, there has been a significant increase in the number of Indians travelling to Dubai on business or holiday. Dubai has also become a very attractive stopover to passengers travelling beyond to America and Europe, Africa and Australia. Dubai's cosmopolitan flair has made the city immensely popular with discerning travellers.

Emirates, Dubai's award winning international airline, operates services to Dubai from Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Cochin, Trivandrum and Bangalore.

Emirates has tied-up with VFS to set up the Dubai Visa Processing Centre (DVPC) in India to assist its passengers in obtaining a Tourist Visa or 96 hrs Visa to Dubai.

Advantages by applying for visa through Emirates.

    * Passengers do not require to locate a sponsor in UAE.
    * Tourist Visa or 96 hrs Visa is processed within two working days provided all the documents are found in order.
    * Visa is granted electronically - hence passengers do not have to queue up at Visa Delivery Counter at Dubai International Airport upon their arrival; instead they proceed directly to Immigration.

Tourist Visa or 96 hrs Visa can be applied in 4 steps :

   1. Obtain the Visa Application Form from:
      a) Emirates Offices
      b) Dubai Visa Application Centres
   2. Create an Application Pack.
   3. Submit the Application Pack at any Dubai Visa Application Centre, or at the nearest designated office of Blue Dart.
   4. Check Visa Status through Emirates PNR.

Please Note:

   1. The U.A.E is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
   2. Tenure of Visas, Tourist (58 days) or 96 hrs(58 days) includes the day of arrival and departure
