DSInit Tool

The DSInit tool (DSInit.exe) initializes development storage in the local environment. This tool is run automatically the first time you launch development storage by running DevelopmentStorage.exe. Initializing development storage by running DevelopmentStorage.exe is the recommended approach, but you can also run the DSInit.exe tool directly. The DSInit.exe tool is installed to the C:\Program Files\Windows Azure SDK\v1.0\bin\ directory. After you've initialized the local environment, it's not necessary to call DSInit.exe again.

You must have administrative privileges to call DSInit.exe.
