Batelco acquires 49 pc stake in India's S Tel for $225 mn

Bahrain Telecommunications Co (Batelco) said on Sunday it agreed to acquire a 49 percent stake in Indian mobile operator S Tel Ltd for
$225 million.

Batelco said in a statement it partnered with Millenium Private Equity to purchase the stake in S Tel. It said the deal is expected to be completed during the first quarter.
