AIEEE model examination on January 4

To focus on the changing features of AIEEE, a model examination will be held on January 4.

It will be conducted at 16 centres in Chennai and at Coimbatore, Cuddalore, Erode, Madurai, Neyveli, Puducherry, Salem, Tiruchi, Tirunelveli and Vellore.

Organised by The Hindu Education Plus, AIMS Education and SRM University, the model examination familiarises candidates on aspects of AIEEE such as modalities and pattern and level of the question paper.

Special features

It will also focus on the special features of AIEEE like the double signing by the candidates for attendance, questions on reasoning and comprehension, negative marking this year.

The number of seats available through AIEEE and the number of aspirants for them have been steadily growing, it was 17,164 seats and 7,92,752 candidates last year.

The model examination toppers will be felicitated on January 11 at all the exam centres, during which educationists will discuss the model paper and offer useful tips on answering the actual AIEEE.

Both the model exam and discussion session are offered free of cost.

Already over 8500 have registered. Registration can be done on-line through AIMS website www.aimseducation.com.
