Engineering college opened at Proddatur

KADAPA: Yogi Vemana University Vice-Chancellor A. Ramachandra Reddy inaugurated the university's engineering college on SKSC degree college premises at Proddatur on Wednesday.Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy was upgrading higher education facilities in the rural areas, Prof. Ramachandra Reddy said adding that quality education would be imparted in the new college.

District Collector M.T. Krishna Babu, who inaugurated the EDC laboratory, said the Chief Minister agreed to allot 20 acres of land at Proddatur for the college. Proddatur MLA N. Varadarajulu Reddy thanked Dr. Reddy for sanctioning Rs. 500 crores for developmental works in Proddatur.
