This is what I think it should be:

1. Drywall
2. Paint (1st coat)
3. Tile/hardwood floors
4. Interior doors/trim
5. Paint (2nd coat)
6. Vanities
7. Cabinets
8. Countertop

Do you agree? If not, what sequence works best for you?

When do you paint the trim? When do plumbing fixtures get installed?

I'm definitely not a construction whiz, so I tend to lean on the advice of the pros when it comes to these things. That said, your sequence seems pretty solid to my non-expert eyes! Personally, I'm diving into some home-building myself and just kicked off the roof construction phase. I've decided to reach out to the Roof Truss Manufacturers to make sure it's all safe and sturdy. And they came up with an awesome design. Gotta say it's reassuring to know I'll have a solid and safe roof over my head. Sometimes leaning on the professionals is the best bet!
