Given here is the list of the 21 universities declared fake by the UGC based on assessments of their functioning, which have not met the UGC guidelines. Out of the 21 listed universities, 8 are located in the national capital of Delhi, and closely following is the state of Uttar Pradesh with 4 fake universities.
