Software Engineer - MSTR

What You'll Be Doing:

Works with the business, product management and senior engineering management to clarify business requirements and provide effective technical designs aligning with industry best practices
Evangelize and implement one (or) more critical reporting application supporting one or more products.
Executing deliverables including but not limited to:
Developing, Testing, and Deploying Dashboards and Report Solutions.
Application Object Creation
Schema Object Creation
MicroStrategy Administrative Tasks
Demonstrate ability to decompose a feature request into actionable work items that can be sized correctly and delivered
Embrace product quality and drive the team towards a culture of quality via automated testing
Work with geographically distributed teams, with ample opportunity to learn from and mentor teammates in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work across a variety of software-related disciplines: solution design, agile development, unit testing, refactoring, and build/deployment automation
Must Haves:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in technical field with equivalent work experience
3+ years of relevant professional work experience with the MicroStrategy platform
Knowledge and application of new features in and capabilities available with MicroStrategy v10, or later.
Experience and understanding of MicroStrategy Report Caching, MicroStrategy Schedules and Subscriptions
Experience and understanding of MicroStrategy Reports, Dashboards, and Objects such as Attributes, Facts, Metrics, Filters, and Prompts
Knowledge of Microstrategy Administration (Administration Monitors, Command Manager, Object Manager, User Manager, Integrity Manager)
Experience in either Windows or Unix installation and setup of MicroStrategy
SQL skills including the knowledge of performance optimization
Strong analytical, diagnostics and creative problem solving skills
Driven and result-oriented with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Required skills:

2+ years of relevant professional work experience
Experience on MSTR, SQL, Cloud.
Clear understanding of DevOps or CI/CD process, tools and its importance
Working experience on Agile environment with focus on faster Deployment frequency, feature cycle time, test automation etc (preferably Trunk Based development)
Solution oriented and effective communicator
