Maruti Suzuki True Value sells 4 million pre-owned cars in 20 years thru 550 outlets



New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India's used car arm True Value has sold four million pre-owned cars since its inception in 2001, the company said in a press release on Thursday.

Since its foray into India's pre-owned car market, True Value has expanded its network to 268 cities across India with over 550 outlets.

Shashank Srivastava, executive director-- marketing and sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, "The pre-owned car market in India is highly unorganised and there are very few players providing safe, reliable and transparent buying and selling experience to buyers and sellers. True Value was set up to overcome these issues and to ensure that buyers of pre-owned cars get the same experience as the new car buyers. The record of over four million True Value pre-owned car sales stands testament to our customers' persistent support and love for the brand."

In line with market trends, Maruti Suzuki upgraded its True Value outlets in 2017 to offer both online and offline car buying experiences.

The True Value-certified cars go through 376 quality evaluation checks and come with up to 1-year warranty and three free services.

Customers can also sell their car to True Value through a channelised platform by booking appointments for a home evaluation from the True Value website or app.

The company said True Value does a complete digital evaluation using an AI-based scientific pricing and hassle-free documentation.
