DICV launches app for connecting digitally with stakeholders

New Delhi: Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) on Monday launched a new app, named DICV Bulletin, for communicating with its dealers, customers and suppliers on a single platform.

The app, which was developed in-house by the company's IT Team in less than three months, offers its users information tailored to suit their business needs at the touch of a button, DICV said in a release.

According to the company, this new communication platform is particularly relevant in times of crisis and rapid change, as it can seamlessly transfer critical information to stakeholders without delay.

Satyakam Arya, CEO and managing director, DICV, said, "The new DICV Bulletin lets us share up-to-the-minute information with our stakeholders in real time, improving communication and helping us become even more customer-focused."

DICV, the maker of BharatBenz trucks and buses, said the app will tailor content according to the users' profiles, ensuring that each reader sees news relevant to his/her needs. The company plans to post a variety of information including surveys and polls that will offer stakeholders the chance to quickly give feedback to their business partners in DICV.

"Digitalization is the number one way for businesses to improve efficiency. The DICV Bulletin app is a prime example of how an online platform can be used to bring stakeholders information tailored to their needs, whenever and wherever they need it," Chulanga Perera, CIO of DICV, said.

The app will be available for dealers, suppliers and select customers on the Google Play and App store, the company informed.
