Daddy, I am so scared - Blood on my Skirt !!!

"Daddy, I am so scared." Twelve year old Tanaya ran and hugged her father.

"What happened to my big brave daughter?" "Daddy, I guess it's blood.. Daddy, I think I saw blood on my skirt today."

Tanaya had lost her mother six months back and Ashutosh, her father was finding it difficult bringing up his daughter all by himself. He was madly in love with his wife and he had ruled out second marriage options as proposed by his relatives. He was a doting dad and tried his best to be a mother and father to Tanaya.

"Daddy", Tanaya spoke again. "Daddy, I saw blood in my skirt. Rashi told me that it is periods. I am on periods. Am I on periods daddy?" It was not exactly a comfortable question for Ashutosh so he tried to evade her questions at least for some time.

"Tanaya baby, do you want an ice cream? Chocolate flavour?" Tanaya made a face. "You know daddy, Rashi was right. She told me that you wouldn't talk to me about this. Even she discusses all this with her mom. I wish mom was alive. I am sorry I told you about this. Just forget that I ever told you this."

Ashutosh was startled and a little ashamed. He didn't want to make Tanaya feel bad about something which was so normal. He just wanted to buy some time for himself. "Tanaya sweetie, why would you feel like that? I am your mommy too, remember? I wonder why Rashi would put such things into your head."

"Then why wouldn't you talk about it daddy? I am so scared. Will I die like mommy too?" "Oh no baby, never ever say that. You are daddy's princess." "But daddy.. blood?" "Come, we'll go out, have ice cream and then discuss about this. This is a wonderful thing. Always be proud of this." Ashutosh held his daughter's hand and escorted her outside the door.

As Tanaya took a large bite off her orange flavoured ice cream, Ashutosh asked her to narrate the day's happenings. "Daddy, I saw blood on my skirt today and I am very scared." "Well little Tanaya, let me narrate a little story to you." "Oh sure, daddy. Make it an interesting one."

"It is an interesting one, kid. When your mommy was as little as you, she also saw blood on her skirt. She ran up to her dad who told her that she had received the biggest gift of her life that day." Tanaya had her doubts. "How was it the biggest gift of her life daddy?" "Because that day she got periods for the very first time. It gave her the power to be a mother. It gave her you." "Does that mean daddy, that I can become like mommy too?" "Yes, of course, you're already like your mommy with your hazel eyes and chestnut hair." "Thank You daddy. I love you. I'll tell that annoying Rashi that my father is the best. He told me everything. I have some more questions but I'll ask them tomorrow. I need some sleep."

Ashutosh heaved a sigh of relief. He'd broken a taboo. Tomorrow he would be adequately prepared to break another taboo and talk to her about something society would not have approved of. As he put Tanaya to sleep, Ashutosh could feel his wife smiling at him. He had not been a good husband to her while she was alive but he would try his best to be a good father to their daughter.

Remuneration :

Job Specification :

(i) Automobile Fitter. In this trade you are responsible for maintenance and repair of all type of light and heavy duty mechanical vehicles, cranes and loading equipment etc.

(ii) Electronics Fitter. As an Electronics Fitter you operate and maintain Radar, Voice and Data transmission and reception equipment mounted on latest airborne weapon delivery systems and ground based air defense systems. You will get trained in Digital Electronics, measuring instruments, radar technology, latest electronics devices and related trade fundamentals.

(iii) Electrical Fitter. You will maintain power supply system of latest types of aircraft, airborne missiles and associated ground systems. You will also maintain photo equipment mounted on air borne weapon systems and operate ground based photo systems. You will get trained in electrical trade, operation and maintenance of digital devices, electronic devices etc.

(iv) Mechanical System Fitter. You will repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems of airborne missiles, engines, automobiles and aircraft fuelling equipment. Complete aircraft ground support equipment will also be repaired and maintained by you. You will be trained in handling and preparation of bombs and explosives and in electrical system, workshop and mechanical trades as well as automobile mechanics.

(v) Structures Fitter. As Structures Fitter you are responsible for the maintenance and servicing of airframes and their accessories, components and controls of aircraft. Regular checks for the entire hydraulic and pneumatic system to ensure proper functioning against leaks are also part of your duties. You will also be assigned the responsibility of marshaling, parking, picketing and ground handling of aircraft.

(vi) Propulsion Fitter. In this trade you will repair, maintain and prepare for use the propulsion system of aircraft and other airborne weapon delivery system.

(vii) Workshop Fitter (Smith). You will undertake major structural repairs of all aircraft at central repair facilities. You will also be trained in workshop trade for material treatment, welding, heat treatment, smithy and basic machine tools etc.

(viii) Workshop Fitter (Mechanical). You will undertake repair and maintenance work of mechanical nature. You will be trained in workshop trade and practices.

(ix) Weapon Fitter. In this trade, you will prepare, maintain and service armaments, ammunition and safety equipment of aircraft, missiles and other weapon delivery systems. You will also operate and maintain small arms and bomb destruction equipment. You will be trained to handle bombs, explosives, arms and their installation on weapon delivery platforms.

Name of the Post : Group 'Y' (Except Auto Tech, GTI, IAF (P) & Musician) Trades

Qualification :

(i) Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR

(vii) Meteoro logical Assistant. If you are a Meteorological Assistant, you are trained to undertake weather observation and to maintain meteorological instruments. You are also responsible for plotting of charts, taking balloon observations and compilation of weather summaries.

Educational Details:

Pay & Allowances:

During training, a stipend of Rs. 11,400/- per month will be paid. On completion of training, starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Dearness Allowance (DA), will be Rs. 20,500/- per month (approx) which, in subsequent years, may rise up to Rs. 38,720/- per month (approx). Other allowances such as Transport allowance, Composite personal maintenance allowance (CPMA), Leave Ration allowance (LRA), Family planning allowance, HRA etc. are also admissible to airmen.

Balloon Theory - Happiness in Life !!!

Once a group of 500 people were attending a seminar. Suddenly the speaker stopped and decided to do a group activity. He started giving each person a balloon. Each person was then asked to write their name on it using a marker pen. Then all the balloons were collected and put in another room.

The people were then let into that room and asked to find the balloon which had their name written on it within 5 minutes. Everyone was frantically searching for their name, colliding with each other, pushing around others and there was utter chaos.

At the end of 5 minutes no one could find their own balloon.
Then, the speaker asked each person to randomly collect a balloon and give it to the person whose name was written on it. Within minutes everyone had their own balloon.

The speaker then began, "This is happening in our lives. Everyone is frantically looking for happiness all around, not knowing where it is.

Simple Steps to move your mobile number to Airtel
