வேலூர் அடுத்த அரியூர் திருவள்ளுவர் நகர் 4–வது தெருவை சேர்ந்தவர் அசோக்குமார் என்கிற சிவசாமி (வயது 24). பட்டதாரி. அவரது பெற்றோர் கடந்த சில ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு இறந்து விட்டனர். இதனால் அவர் சென்னையில் உள்ள தாத்தாவின் வீட்டில் தங்கி இருந்தார்.

இந்த நிலையில் சிவசாமி அரியூரில் உள்ள தனது வீட்டை வாடகைக்கு விட முடிவு செய்தார். இதற்காக சென்னையில் இருந்து கடந்த 3 நாட்களுக்கு முன்பு அவர் அரியூருக்கு வந்தார். இந்த வீட்டின் அடிப்பகுதியில் புதையல் இருப்பதாக சிவசாமியிடம் சிலர் கூறியுள்ளனர். அதையடுத்து சிவசாமி வீட்டிற்குள் பூஜைகள் செய்து வெளியூர் ஆட்களை வைத்து பள்ளம் தோண்டி உள்ளார்.

அந்த பணியில் ஈடுபடும் தொழிலாளர்கள் அடிக்கடி இவரது வீட்டின் பின் வாசல் வழியாக செல்வதை கண்டு அந்த பகுதியில் உள்ள பொதுமக்கள் சந்தேகம் அடைந்துள்ளனர். இதையடுத்து நேற்று மாலை அந்த பகுதி பொதுமக்கள் வீட்டின் ஜன்னலை திறந்து பார்த்தனர்.

அப்போது வீட்டிற்குள் கிணறு தோண்டுவதுபோல் பள்ளம் தோண்டப்பட்டு இருந்ததை கண்டு அதிர்ச்சி அடைந்தனர். பள்ளத்தை மேலும் தோண்டுவதற்காக உள்ளே பல அடி உயரம் உள்ள ஏணியையும் வைத்திருந்தனர். இதனால் அதற்குள் இறங்கி நரபலி கொடுத்திருக்கலாம் என தகவல் பரவியதால் பொதுமக்கள் பீதியடைந்தனர். அங்கு பூ, பழம் வைத்து பூஜையும் செய்யப்பட்டு இருந்தது.

இது குறித்து அவர்கள் அரியூர் போலீஸ் நிலையத்திற்கு தகவல் தெரிவித்தனர். அதன் பேரில் சம்பவ இடத்திற்கு வந்த போலீசார் வீட்டின் கதவை உடைத்து உள்ளே சென்று பார்த்தனர்.

அப்போது வீட்டிற்குள் சுமார் 25 அடி ஆழமுள்ள பள்ளம் இருப்பது தெரியவந்தது. மேலும் வீட்டிற்குள் பழம், பூ உள்ளிட்ட பொருட்களை வைத்து பூஜை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதும் தெரியவந்தது. போலீசார் தனது வீட்டில் சோதனை செய்ய வந்துள்ளது குறித்து தகவல் அறிந்த சிவசாமி இரவு வீட்டிற்கு வராமல் தலைமறைவாகி விட்டார். மேலும் இந்த சம்பவம் குறித்து அரியூர் போலீசார் தொடர்ந்து விசாரணை நடத்தி வருகின்றனர்.

இந்த சம்பவத்தால் அரியூர் பகுதியில் பரபரப்பு ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது.

High drama started at India Gate late Wednesday night after a speeding Lamborghini sports car crashed into the pavement of a park.
The incident was witnessed by a police constable who was on duty in the area. Police said the driver had a narrow escape as the car's airbags popped out.
However, police said the driver abandoned the car and fled the spot.

A case has been registered under Section 279 (rash driving or riding on a public way) of the IPC at Tilak Marg police station.
Police said they have started a search for the absconding driver.
A senior police officer said that the case was registered following the complaint by the police constable, Tejpal.
He is posted with Tilak Marg police station of New Delhi district.
"Tejpal claimed he saw the yellow Lamborghini, which was being driven carelessly and at a high speed, on the Outer Circle of C-Hexagon, Copernicus Marg, around 1.15 am. The car ended up hitting the pavement of a park between Copernicus Marg and Tilak Marg. The driver got down from the car and ran away," the officer said.
Passersby immediately rushed to the spot, but by then the driver managed to flee the spot.
"A PCR call was made by the police staff and the crime team of the district was also called to examine the spot. The car was later taken to Tilak Marg police station. After registering the case, police started investigation. The car had no number plate at the front or back. However, we found documents inside the car from which the number of the vehicle was found. We also found that the car belongs to a company. Further investigation is on," the police officer said.

Kawasaki has just launched its quickest street-legal motorcycle in India, the Ninja H2 at Rs 29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The launch took place at Delhi's own international race track, the Buddh International Circuit.

The Ninja H2 is in a league of its own, with ingenious technology and jaw-dropping looks that command attention, with futuristic styling. The Ninja H2's advanced engine is built by Kawasaki and their aerospace department, part of Kawasaki Heavy Industries. H2  is equipped with a supercharged engine, a 998cc in-line 4 cylinder unit, with identical bore and stroke (76.0 x 55.0) as the Ninja ZX-10R, in a very different state of tune. Due to the addition of a supercharger, the H2 produces 197.3bhp at 11,000rpm. Also, 13.6kgm of peak torque is produced at 10,500rpm.

The Ninja H2 also has large 330mm disc brakes up front and a 250mm rear disc brake with a non-switchable ABS braking system in place.

At the launch event itself Kawasaki mentions new interesting developments to happen soon. Firstly, it will launch two new models in India this year. They also mention that a maximum of four new showrooms will be inaugurated in India this year. Kawasaki original apparel will be soon sold in India. Kawasaki has also confirmed the Z800 will be sold permanently at the 'introductory' rate earlier announced.

The Ninja H2 is available in a black paint scheme that is mirror coated.
