If you belong to a general category,you need to have at least 97 + percentile to compete the best for FMS,considering the fact that the program at FMS is quiet economic.For OBC,Cut off is around 90%.it could be lesser for SC and ST..

Its better to start early in a long term batch to finish your syllabus early to take sevral mocktests at the end.With my personal experiance,i could suggest you CRACKIIM -CAT Coaching https://crackiim.com/at banjarhills.They are the alumni of top b schools and encourage long term preparation to be in the cream rather than short term and they have very good success rate.you can consider a few others like IMS,CL,TIME.Wherever you start,opt for long term batch and start early.

With any test prep center, the result ultimately depends on how well you take their services too.I have  attended at CL,where as my cousin attends his classes with CRACKIIM. Although GMAT has a global reach,CAT is the only admission test used by majority of IIM's for their 2 years MBA program.Primarily GMAT is taken by aspirants looking for 1 year PGDM in premium business schools such as ISB in India and abroad.If you have at least 2 years of work experience and looking for executive MBA, GMAT is a better choice. otherwise CAT fits well in domestic B -school application process.

is VOCABULARY AND GRAMMAR required to crack CAT with 99 percentile ?

Through vocabulary and grammar questions have not been directly tested in CAT in recent years,they act as supporting skills to understand passages better in READING COMPREHENSION. knowing the meanings of words and structures of sentences  could not only instigate your reading habits but also speed up your pace of reading,which is very essential to understand passages in less time.


Is Q.A section very difficult in CAT ?

As per the recent exams standards,its reasonable to say that quantitative section difficulty level has been declining.Probably to encourage students from diversified backgrounds to write CAT and secure admission into management courses.However one should be very clear with basics and techniques to crack the questions within stipulated time.


How many days i need to spend to master CAT curriculum ?

Its quiet subjective; it depends on your past exposure towards skills being tested in CAT.For instance,If you are very good reader in general,Verbal ability section could be easier to master as majority of the questions these days rely on comprehension skills.but you need to take several mock tests to test yourself to see whether you get the right answers within set time.
