Online Cloud Storage pricing list & companies offer cloud

Longback everyone though of keeping their data safe. Because of laptop broken, desktop crash like hard disk crash and many issues . Everyone used their secondary hard disk to take regular backups of their folders and files. Using secondary hard disk they need external power connections & spend some time on regular backups before loosing their important datas. Later the season of External Hard Disk have been introduced with a price range from 1 tb external disk @ 6700 / 6200 and 500 gb external hdd @ 4500 / 3700. Agin the same issues raised of making backup as an habit. So the pc users could not concentrate their work, rather taking regular backups.

Now the idea of cloud has been introduced. You do not need to own an internal or external hard disk drives like olden days and also do not want to think of your backup schedules. All you have to do is, just choose your cloud storage company and download , install the software on your desktop / laptop and your datas will be backups to centralized servers called as cloud.

Disadvantages of using online cloud storage :

* Though users have a insecurity of their datas on online cloud , because even last week yahoo has reported 4,00,000 usernames and password as been stoled . Linked inn also report almost 10% of their userbase.
* Giant companies like Google, Amazon have no detailed informations of how to use their online cloud service. We need support / consulting of technologist of how to use there service. Though Drop Box and Apple Icloud have pretty much detailed explanations and user interfaces.

Current Price Table of Online Cloud Storage :

* Dropbox's pro accounts will now offer 102GB of storage for $99 a year and 202GB of storage for $199 a year. In drop box, Users who are already signed up for its 50GB and 100GB pro plans will see their storage bumped to the new levels by tomorrow.
* Amazon Cloud Drive
* Google Drive 100 gb of storage for $60 or  $50
* Microsoft SkyDrive 100 gb of storage for $ 60 or $ 50
* Box.
* iCloud, Apple's Mac and iOS-specific cloud service, offers up to 50GB of storage for $100 a year.

How do these online cloud storage earn revenue :

* Assume 100 users buy Google Drive's 100 gb of 50$ a year. But in average of 10% users would have used their 90% + of their actual allocated space. Rest of their 90% users use a variable space from 1gb , 2 gb , 5 gb and maximum 10 gb of each user throughout their yearly package. Though these online cloud packages shows 100 Gb space as their maximum usage. The process will be assigned of variable storage for their storage. So out of 10,000 gb / 10 tb purchase @ 5000$ / yearly. But the total usage would not go more than 10-25% of 2 tb as the maximum, So these online storage companies may sell rest of 8 tb for another 1000 users and goes on , on and on. Unlike dedicated servers , we would not have a dedicated server hdd placed on your machines.

Conclusion :

* Get a External Hard Disk for your office for 1 TB once @ 6500 Rs, which could intern support maximum 900 gb of data of more than 20-25 machines in your office.
* If you feel you could not allocate time for schedules or pay a admin guy in your office. Better call your Web Hosting / Web Designers / IT Hardware AMC guys and sign a Non Disclosure Agreement with them and ask them to visit your office weekly once or every saturday after 5pm to backup your office system.
* By doing this your could keep your data safe and locally. Additionally you could also sue your backup person, whereas if your datas are stolen or it could also be stolen by some online hacking team etc.
