Free training for SC/ST candidates

CHENNAI: NSIC Technical Services Centre is offering free training courses for candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Caste converts to Christianity in machine tool technology; CNC programming and machine operation with CAD/CAM; design of machine tool using inventor/solid works & UG; and machine tool design using reverse engineering techniques.

Students who have a degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, an ITI certificate or a pass in Standard 10 can walk in for an interview with their certificates, including income certificate (parental annual income limit is Rs.2.5 lakh) at the NSIC Technical Services Centre at Ekkattuthangal on November 19. The age limit is 35.
