Newbie on board

I am currently working on my master's in technical communication; I have been teaching computer applications, hardware and networking for approximately 15 years.  I have a degree in Business and English; and worked in the IT department for local government for over 12 years.  Over time, I provided support to most every Department in the City, worked closely with Public Safety and was project lead for a project that  automated police writing and reporting.
