Training programme

KARUR: Training in textile export field that has immense employment scope would be offered to unemployed youth, both men and women, in Karur district under the aegis of the Mahalir Thittam.

The two-month free training programme for those in the age group of 18 to 35 would be on home textiles and costing, textile CAD designing.

A stipend of Rs. 25 would be sanctioned for each working day. The training sessions would be conducted at the Mithra Textile Training Centre here.

The applications should reach the Project Officer, Mahalir Thittam, Karur before September 18.
