Training programme launched

CHENNAI: Commissioner of Police T. Rajendran launched a training programme for personnel of Intelligence Section attached to the Chennai Police here on Thursday.

The trainees would be exposed to applications of the Internet, mobile phones and other modern gadgets. The 10-day programme would also cover aspects pertaining to technology-aided investigation.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Intelligence Section) Sathyamurthi said that it had been proposed to organise a course for the intelligence personnel at the Special Branch Training School in Chennai.
