RIM has unveiled its latest globetrotting handset, which has been named aptly as Blackberry Tour 9630.

The handset, which is being flaunted as a business phone designed for the travelling business man comes fully equipped with 3G technology as well as with full multimedia support, GPS capability, faster browsing, and document editing and viewing capability.

Blackberry Tour 9630 can be used across the world, and is compatible with almost all the major GSM networks. The new RIM handset provides support for Dual-Band: 800/1900 MHz CDMA/EVDO Rev A networks.

The BlackBerry Tour 9630 is a handset which has been designed exclusively to meet the needs of a constant travelling person as he has to stay connected.

The Blackberry Tour 9630 is equipped with a 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera that has the geo-tagging functionality. The card slot offers up to 16 GB of space, providing the room needed for images, music, and larger work files like presentations and reports. This is apart from the 256MB of memory it comes with. The full QWERTY keyboard makes typing long emails easier. It is also quite light weight, tipping the scales at 130 grams.
