Jagannath: Spreading fragrance

After unsuccessfully testing waters in Pudhiya Geethai and Kodambakkam, director Jagannath won all accolades in 'Raman Thedia Seethai', the Cheran starrer.The filmmaker is now back in Kollywood with a new project, titled 'Roja Malli Kanakambaram'. The movie would feature new faces in lead roles, besides cameo performances from a couple of well-known actors, it is said.

Says Jagannath, "it is a decent love story with freshers taking care of most pivotal characters. I am sure that this movie too would woo the audience like 'Raman Thedia Seethai' did."

Interestingly, Jagannath is also acting in 'guest roles'. In Milaga starring Nataraj, he is playing an important character. "But that is for my friends. My full focus is on direction alone," he says.

'Raman Thedia Seethai' is a story of a youth, who goes in search of a 'perfect bride'. The film has five heroines- Vimala Raman, Navya Nair, Ramya Nambeesan, Karthika and Gajala.
