Requirements

B.Tech CSIT, B.Tech CSE or MCA (Other branches of engineering or M.Sc. Graduates NEED NOT APPLY for this round)
Must have secured at least 70% in B.Tech or MCA.
Must have completed B.Tech or MCA in 2005, or 2006.
Must have secured a minimum of 70% in Standard X / SSC10th and Intermediate (11 + 12 / Plus 2).
Good aptitude, written and oral communication Skills.
Strong fundamentals of Object Oriented Programming.
Must have knowledge of Core Java, JDBC, and JSP/Servlets.
Must be proficient in SQL (Joins, Subqueries). C h e ta n a S
Must know basic Linux commands and scripting is a plus.
Need-based training will be provided in Object Oriented Analysis & Design, Struts, Hibernate, Web Services development with Apache Axis, Unit testing multi-threaded applications with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, DBUnit, Load and Performance profiling using tools such as Load Runner, Eclipse TPTP, J2EE Development with Eclipse WTP.

What should you expect after you apply?

In about a week�s time you will receive an email communication about the date and venue of written test. A Hall Ticket Number will be emailed to you and you need to bring that to the venue of written test on the day of selection process (see The Selection Process section of this Job Posting).


The Selection Process
The written test will contain four sections. Each section approximately takes about 25 minutes. Each section has a predefined cut-off to determine if a candidate will be considered for the next round of selection process.

What documents should you bring to the venue of written test?


Hall Ticket Number
A copy of your Candidate Profile
A copy of your latest Resume with your B.Tech/MCA academic project and/or project experience, if any.
A Passport size photograph
A copy of photo identification (Driver's license, voter ID card, ration card, passport issued by Government of India).
A copy of all certificates and marks sheets (all semesters) starting from Standard 10 / SSC to highest degree obtained by the candidate.
What should you expect on the day of selection process?

8 am Candidate registration starts. Your hall ticket number, your Candidate Profile, Photo ID and passport size photograph will be matched before you begin the test. 9 am Written test Section 1 starts 9.30 am Written test Section 2 starts 10 am Written test Section 3 starts 10.30 am Written test Section 4 starts 11 am Written test completes. This is a good time for the candidates to get their lunch. 2 pm List candidates short listed for Technical Interview will be announced. 2.30 pm Technical Interviews start simultaneously by multiple panels. Each candidate is expected to spend about a maximum of 40 minutes in technical interview. 7 pm List of candidates short listed for HR Interview will be announced and HR Interviews commence. HR Interview may also include Group Discussion. 8 pm Candidates who were short listed for further processing are intimated and the selection process for the day ends.
General Guidelines

Refrain from misrepresenting information in your candidate profile.
If you do not have consistent academic background with 70% throughout, starting with Standard X / SSC, you will be rejected at some point in selection process or even after selection process. Please do not waste your time and ours.
If you think just the theoretical knowledge and/or preparing for "interview questions" is sufficient to get selected in technical interview, please DO NOT APPLY. Technical Interview will contain some hands-on questions that involve writing/executing code snippets on the computer. So, it would be better to practice some hands-on examples.
Study Reference

Vocabulary GRE Barron's and other high-frequency words. Aptitude Shakuntala Devi, and George Summers Java Language Programming Skills Follow the SCJP Certification Guides. Exclude the chapters on AWT and Swing. Concentrate on packages such as java.lang, java.net, java.sql, java.io, java.util (specifically Java Collections Framework). Refer to exam preparation websites such as http://www.javablackbelt.com Operating Systems and Software Engineering Concepts Learn the basic Linux commands (cd, grep, find, regular expressions etc) and shell scripting (if, for, do while loops etc). Refer to Software Development Lifecycle and specifically Testing related chapters in your favorite software engineering text book.
