E-learning courses from MSU

Several e-learning courses would be offered by Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, in partnership with a private firm, said Vice-Chancellor R.T. Sabapathy Mohan.

A memorandum of understanding was signed here on Tuesday between the university and EdServ, which offers services in technology-assisted learning.

A certificate course in office automation, a diploma course in programming, and a post-graduate diploma in object oriented programming are on offer.

The syllabus, fee structure and the revenue sharing system would be decided by the University Syndicate, said Dr. Mohan. Face-to-face contact programmes could supplement the e-learning modules. The details would be decided soon.
