Training in preparation of spices and pickles

COIMBATORE: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University will organise a training in preparing spice powders and pickles on August 19 and 20 on the university premises. According to a university release, the training will cover the following aspects: vegetarian and non-vegetarian spice powders, ready-to-use pastes, tomato pickle, brinjal pickle, amla pickle and onion pickle. Those interested can attend the training by paying a fee of Rs. 1,000. Demand draft should be drawn in favour of the Dean (Agricultural Engineering) and sent to Head, Post Harvest Technology Centre, TNAU, Coimbatore – 641003. For details, contact 0422-6611268.
