'e-school Project' launched

CHENNAI: Mayor M. Subramanian on Saturday launched the Chennai Corporation's 'e-school Project' as part of which the civic body will computerise details of students studying in its schools, the attendance of teachers and students, mark sheets and transfer certificates.

"We will be able to keep a tab of the progress of students and thereby improve their performance in examinations," he told mediapersons.
