Saakshi Tanwar’ Anti-Malaria Awareness Campaign In Delhi

Television actress Saakshi Tanwar has visited New Delhi to spread awareness on malaria.

Saakshi of "Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki" fame has been roped in by FMCG Company, Godrej Sara Lee Hit, for the anti-malaria campaign. She gave a briefing to the Delhiites on the causes and effects of the disease that is spread with a single mosquito bite.

She said that the mosquitoes have to be killed and not only repelled, if the spread of the disease has to be controlled.

"During the monsoon especially, one needs to be extra careful as diseases spread very easily.

"This is an important and strong initiative against malaria and I am proud to be associated with it," she said.
