Calicut University B.Tech. results out

The University of Calicut, on Friday, published the results of the B.Tech. eighth semester examinations in less than 40 days.

The university became the first in the State to successfully conduct an examination with bar code on answer scripts.

The B.Tech. eighth semester examinations were held in the second, third and fourth week of June.

Using the newly introduced bar code, the answer scripts were valued, tabulated and results declared in 40 days.

"There is no lagging of course. The students who joined for B.Tech. four years ago in August have completed their course in exactly four years," V. Rajagopalan, Controller of Examination, said.
