Uthara Swayamvaram Shooting To Be Completed Soon

Malayalam movie hero, Jayasurya, is having a good time these days. After Dr. Patient, Currency and Ivar Vivaahitharayal, he is now doing a movie that is directed by Ramakanth Sarju, titled Uthara Swayamvaram.

The film is being produced under Pavithram Creations by Santosh Pavithram. Being shot in Ottappalam, Roma is donning the role of the female lead. This is the second time that Roma and Jayasuriya are being paired together. They had paired for Shakespeare MA Malayalam, which was a hit.

The story is about Prakash (Jayasuriya) whose father, Sreedharan Menon, owns a supermarket. Prakash's father wants him to become an officer but Prakash's interests are different. After graduation, he shows more interest in the activities of the village Arts club, but is not interested in job-searching. Very soon he lands himself in love with a village girl, Uthara (Roma). But her rich father, Mahadevan fixes her marriage with another rich boy. The story builds up from here on.

The remaining cast includes Suraj Venjaramoodu, Shobha Mohan, Sukumari, Lalu Alex, Salim Kumar, Nedumudi Venu, Biju Kuttan, Balachandra Menon and others. The lyrics are by Girish Puthencherry and the music by M. Jayachandran.

Uthara Swayamvaram will finish shooting within a few days of filming, at Chennai and Bangalore.
