“Machete” To Hit Screens In 2010

Robert Rodriguez, best known for his major hits like, "Once Upon a Time in Mexico" and "Desperado", is soon coming with his latest flick "Machete".

The film "Machete", is an expansion of a "fake" trailer that Robert Rodriguez directed for the 2007 film "Grindhouse".

The film "Machete" stars, Jessica Alba, Robert De Niro, Michelle Rodriguez, Lindsay Lohan, Cheech Marin, Jeff Fahey, Don Johnson and Steven Seagal alongside Danny Trejo.

Danny Trejo is palying the title character in the movie.

Danny Trejo has worked earlier with director Robbert Rodriguez in some of his other movies such as "Once Upon a Time in Mexico" and "Spy Kids".

"Machete" is produced by Robbert Rodriguez and co-directing with "Ethan Maniquis".

"Machete had become my most requested movie and I never actually made it, so when the opportunity arose to answer the call with such an amazing cast, I jumped." said Robbert Rodriguez.

"Machete" will hit the screens by 2010.
