JOB DESCRIPTION:

UK-India Graduate Work Experience Programme. GTI Recruiting Solutions manages this Programme on behalf of the UK India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI – www.ukieri.org). UKIERI is a government-to-government initiative in education with the aim of building closer ties between our two countries.
The aim of the UK India Graduate Work Experience Programme is to promote academic, cultural, and business exchange between the UK and India through enabling students and graduates to experience up to a year's paid work experience in the UK.
This year there will be an opportunity for 19 Indian graduates to travel for up to a year of work experience in the United Kingdom. We believe that these placements offer a diverse and unparalleled level of international business experience to all who wish to further their business acumen.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

# To be eligible to apply for the Programme, you must: be an Indian citizen
# be graduating by 2009/ have graduated from an Indian university (preferably for a postgraduate qualification)
# be aged between 21 and 30 years old on the application deadline
# have a minimum TOEFL score of 90 (internet-based test), 575 (paper based test), or IELTS 6.5.

All the above criteria are mandatory. You must have the TOEFL or the IELTS score before applying.
The selection process:
You are required to complete a written application form and provide a copy of your CV in English as well as copies of your academic transcripts and TOEFL/IELTS scores. The application form will not be available until the vacancies are listed online.
