PG seats available in Mangalore University

MANGALORE: A few seats in various post-graduation courses are vacant in Mangalore University for 2009-10.

Candidates interested in applying for them should send their applications before August 12 to chairpersons of the departments concerned. Seats are available in the following courses: M.Sc. (Yogic Science); M.Sc. (Geo Informatics); M.Sc. (Material Science); M.A. (Kannada); Master of Sales and Marketing; Post-graduate Diploma in Yogic Science. These courses are offered at Mangalagangotri, the varsity's campus. In addition, a few seats in M.Sc. (Microbiology), and M.Sc. (Biochemistry) are available at its post-graduation centre at Madikeri. Government quota seats are available in M.Com., Master of Human Resource Development, and M.Sc in Mathematics courses offered at Alva's College, Moodbidri, a private college affiliated to the university, according to a press release.
