VUDA plans to hold dance training classes

Visakhapatnam: To promote interest in traditional lifestyles and culture, VUDA plans to organise dance training classes for children every Sunday and second Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Various dance forms like Kuchipudi, concept-oriented dance ballets, classical and patriotic items will be taught.

The classes will be held in association with Natraj Music and Dance Academy.

Members of the VUDA Children Club and others below the age of 25 years can take part.

The participants have to pay a nominal fee of Rs.100 per month and for those studying in GVMC and other government schools, the fee would be Rs.50. The enrolment for classes will take place on August 9 at VUDA Children Theatre from 11 a.m. onwards.

Free medical camps

T. Subbarami Reddy Sevapeetam and Visakha Welfare Federation jointly conducted free medical camps at Bhanojinagar, Pitanidibba, Utagedda, Bapujinagar, Bharatnagar, Bucchirajupalem, Seetaramnagar, Itchapuram and Ramlingapuram on Tuesday. Over 470 patients were examined and free medicines were distributed.
Seminar

The Tax Law Research Group, in association with taxindiaonline.com, a premier website on taxation matters, will host the 16th annual seminar on Service Tax, Central Excise, Customs and Income Tax matters at Hotel Dolphin on August 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
