CSR Launches Development Kit For BlueCore5-Multimedia
The kit includes a development board and software to enable the rapid development of Bluetooth accessories for Apple's iPhone and iPod touch.
         CSR has launched a development kit based on BlueCore5-Multimedia that enables rapid time-to-market of Bluetooth-enabled 'Works with iPhone' and 'Made for iPod' certified accessories. The development kit enables accessory developers to take advantage of the streaming music over Bluetooth capability available on Apple's iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and second generation iPod touch running iPhone OS 3.0.

Based on CSR's BlueCore5-Multimedia silicon, the development kit includes a development board and software to enable the rapid development of Bluetooth accessories for Apple's iPhone and iPod touch.

"These 'Works with iPhone' and 'Made for iPod'-certified products will provide a unique and differentiated experience for the iPhone or iPod touch," said the company.
